Learn Create Relax

I thrive on the excitement and joy I feel inside when learning a new pottery skill. Wanting to pass this feeling onto others I welcome you to join me in my Bristol pottery studio, in the city centre, to find and enjoy your creative potential with clay.

I have multiple classes available including, learning to throw, hand building classes and one off porcelain workshops. In each class you will learn how to shape and form the clay and will be introduced to a variety of tools and techniques.

When you have made your ceramic creation, I will fire and glaze your work, which will take up to 4 weeks. Your pieces will then be ready for collection from my pottery workshop in Bristol.

These ceramic classes have been designed for all abilities for beginner potters to the more intermediate ceramist, and with a small class size of up to eight people, there is lots of space and time to provide focused and tailored tuition.

Testimonials

“I started Jess’s classes when I first moved to Bristol about a year ago and it is still very much a highlight of my week. I have learnt a variety of techniques and decorative finishes and most importantly the class has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere”

“Although I have been doing Jess's course for 3 years, each term I surprise myself with what I am able to achieve - and it is Jess' guidance and pushing that gets me there each time. I wouldn't swap the joy that comes at the beginning of each term when classes start again for the world.”
